My Mission

Through years of struggling with the pain of depression and the constant fear of panic attacks and anxiety I have found a way to share with others what I have learned in the hope of making your path a little bit easier. I feel it is important to know that you are not alone in your pain and anxiety. There is help.

Informational resources:

WebMD Anxiety Disorder Information - WebMD offers lots if information about the different types of anxiety disorders as well as the ability to look up warnings and information on specific medications *though kind of hard to navigate through site

WebMD Depression Center - Similar to their Anxiety Center, WebMD offers information surrounding depression disorders *again, kind of hard to navigate through site

NYU's depression Self-screening test - This test is a good indicator of when you should seek professional help, though it is not the only indicator.

Genome.gov - The Genome website has an excellent list of information about different financial aid for healthcare

US dept of Health & Human Services Website - Find out about Medicare and Medicaid information. You can also call the Medicare Service Center directly at 800-MEDICARE (800-633-4227).
